Glory to God! Michael Carter (aka Carter) was living on the streets in Austin, TX and addicted to drugs when he heard the voice of Jesus and received a miraculous deliverance from his addictions.

He’s off the streets of Austin now but returns to the Bridge of Angels to bring the good news of the hope that is within him! Go Jesus!

1 Peter 3:15 (The Message) tells us…. 13 -18If with heart and soul you’re doing good, do you think you can be stopped? Even if you suffer for it, you’re still better off. Don’t give the opposition a second thought. Through thick and thin, keep your hearts at attention, in adoration before Christ, your Master. Be ready to speak up and tell anyone who asks why you’re living the way you are, and always with the utmost courtesy. Keep a clear conscience before God so that when people throw mud at you, none of it will stick. They’ll end up realizing that they’re the ones who need a bath. It’s better to suffer for doing good, if that’s what God wants, than to be punished for doing bad. That’s what Christ did definitively: suffered because of others’ sins, the Righteous One for the unrighteous ones. He went through it all—was put to death and then made alive—to bring us to God.

We pray for Carter today that God would continue mighty works through Carter and that God would bless Carter with more than he could ever have imagined! We pray also for other homeless folks in Austin Texas that they would find their way to the Bridge of Angels ministry where God is waiting with open arms to love them, care for them and heal them!

“I’ve seen the other realm; it is real,” said Mark Stone, as he described his 29-year drug addiction. His life was like hell-on-earth. The enemy of his soul had robbed him of everything good. Fortunately, when he had just about hit rock-bottom, he cried out to Jesus Christ for help. Mark describes the miraculous events that happened next, and how God responds to all who would call out to Him in sincerity.”

Kristiina Keravuori of Finland visited the Bridge of Angels Street Ministry yesterday and captured the true spirit of our ministry. Thanks Kristiina! We love you here in Austin, TX.

Mark talks about how Jesus Christ delivered him from almost 30 years of hardcore drug use. Listen and know that this same Jesus Christ to Whom he called is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever. Just as Jesus saw Mark’s predicament and heard his cry for help, He can and will hear your cry as well.

George Crisp is interviewed by Glow Austin about the ministry that happens in Austin on Saturday mornings @ 10:30 at 7th Street Bridge. Feeding and clothing the homeless.
